SCADA is the acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. SCADA is a computer-based system for gathering and analyzing real-time data to monitor and control equipment that deals with critical and time-sensitive materials or events. It allows an organization anticipate the optimal response to measured conditions and execute those responses automatically every time.
Key Feature

  • High performance, multi-tasking, real-time processing
  • Provide hands-on system configuration and integration services (e.g., databases, displays, application integration, and intelligent electronic device (IED) integration)
  • Support functional and performance factory acceptance testing (FAT) and point-to-point checkout
  • Create site acceptance test (SAT) procedures and assist in performing SAT
  • Assist with energy management system (EMS) applications
  • Assist with distribution management system (DMS) applications
  • Provides a full range of services to utilities on all aspects and phases of communication projects and initiatives
  • Fault tolerant operation, fail-over and load-balancing between servers
  • Support for multiple control rooms including remote disaster recovery control centers
  • Hierarchical implementation links site, regional and centralized control rooms
Key Capacity
SCADA systems deploy multiple software and hardware elements that allow industrial organizations to:
  • Monitor, gather, and process data
  • Interact with and control machines and devices such as valves, pumps, motors, and more, which are connected through HMI (human-machine interface) software
  • Record events into a log file
  - Oil and Gas
  • Pipeline monitoring and control
  • Remote monitoring and control of production, pumping, and storage locations
  • Refineries, petro-chemical stations
  -  Water and Wastewater
  • Water treatment centers and distribution
  • Wastewater collection and treatment facilities
  -  Utilities
  • Electrical power distribution from gas-fired, coal, nuclear
  • Electrical power transmission and distribution
  -  Manufacturing
  • Food and Beverage
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Electronics & Semiconductor
  • Consumer Goods
  • And many others
